Wow. Arrested on the suspicion of false imprisonment.
False. Imprisonment.
Wow. I know it was dismissed, but that seems like such a trumped up charge. You could get the same for grounding a kid to his room and locking the door with that logic.
Of course, no one here knows all the details, but for skepticism's sake, is not possible the wife is vindictively trying to set up a case against the husband for use in divorce court? She could be playing on the common sympathies today that lead people to automatically suspect a man of wrong-doing, particularly in the arena of child abuse.

Agh. *rubs eyes* I read that as "confessed murder of pet cat," and as I read the snippet expected that to be the discovery: murdered pet instead of lover.

Hmm. I voted "meh..." since I rarely remember to watch the shows I enjoy, so the reruns have actually been sorta beneficial so far. However, the writers should get a better deal in their contracts, so not so much with the "go on forever."

Oh my. How would one bake that?

Wow. How did they recognize each other after 60 years of aging?

I kinda want to say the Vlad/hero comment appeared from someone on this site... I know I remember hearing it.

I thought Ring Around the Rosie as a parable of the black death had been debunked, or was at least inconclusive either way.

It's not mocking Christians, it's mocking idiot fundies, who very well deserve all the mockery they get (especially when they're trying to argue scientific principles with an 8th-grade knowledge of basic science). (Of course, even an 8th-grade level of knowledge should be sufficient to grasp the most obvious things, so I'm forced to conclude they suffer from willful ignorance...also worthy of mockery, since education fails at every turn.)

Smurf reference time!
Donnie: First of all, Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel's evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village. But the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her. And as for the whole gang-bang scenario, it just couldn't happen. Smurfs are asexual. They don't even have... reproductive organs under those little, white pants. It's just so illogical, you know, about being a Smurf. You know, what's the point of living... if you don't have a dick?

Yay for the 15 year old. And the parking lot attendant who could actually play a bit.
Sort of depressing how all the old men were in better-looking shape than the old women, though.

A watch is a lot more subtle to look at without obviously checking the time when in class (since I-- and actually a surprising number of others-- don't use a laptop for notes). Many of my classes are small enough that the professor would notice me digging my cell phone out of my backpack (or in other places, without digging it out of my purse). Watches are also jewelryish and can add a nice accent aesthetically while providing a function.
