You know, I've never seen an atom before that wasn't an animation. My frist thought was "are they blurry because of the electron cloud or the limit of the microscope?"
First off, I will be going through this list looking for new reads. Very cool.
I have two blogs and one site.
The blogs.
http://lifeinaustin.blogspot.com - Just an every other day blog about stuff. It started as a way for my parents to see pictures of their grandkids, but I've done other things with it.
http://robotportrait.blogspot.com - Used to be a project where people could send me a photo or a name and I'd draw them a 5x7 robotized version and do a video of it being drawn. Interest waned so now I just post from the 700 Robots list on Flickr and the current Robot a Week Challenge.
Finally, http://100artistsproject.com - It has a blog and a ning site as well, it's a charity art project and it's getting ready for it's second volume. I only use the blog to talk about things related to the project, but that does include interviews. The most noteable being Adam Koford who's done some work for contests here.
Saw this before and am still in awe at the cost. I'd get a set if they were lower quality but the design was still there. They're good conversation pieces, but none of my conversations require me to spend 16 large.
But I mean, it's everyone's language. Everyone knows this.
It's funny, about a decade ago it was anti-matter blowing up the Earth, now it's black holes swallowing us up. *forehead slap*
Figuratively.
I think it'll be some chemical component that while "provocative" to the scientific community will seem kind of pale to regular work-a-day Joes.
Good for them.
That said, are parking garages that confusing?

C'est ca.
Something that size moving that fast, must have been like being hit with car.
