I would be upset if this was a real town and not Tiburon. This is just a good for them to keep the undesirables out. The undesirables being brown skinned people who aren't working on the lawn. Tiburon is a place for the rich, white, liberal Marin NIMBY.

I have to disagree on one point. I'm sure that all the heroin she had on board that made her think this was a good idea at the time could have caused her to pass out.

From wikipedia, re: Skene's gland

The Skene's glands are homologous with the prostate gland in males

In other words, their statement that the skene's gland is the female prostate is akin to saying that a chicken and an eagle are identical because they're both birds.

And it's the "glans" not the "glands".

I always find this type of stuff amusing. Then I remember that Stormtroopers were supposed to represent Nazi's. And then you see them marching in a parade and being cheered.

Not trying to Godwin, just sayin'.

Since they state the "P addict" can be up for 7 days, I'm wondering if they're referring to "peudoephedrine."

Great ad though. If I was still in Nursing School, and living in New Zealand, I'd be all over a place called "Murder Burger."

That sounds odd. I don't ever remember religious persecution in the Army. In fact, I was stationed with one guy who listed his religion as "Satanism"...it was on his dog tags and everything.

I know that being an atheist would be bad if you were captured. Muslims viewed Christians, Jews, Buddhists, what have you as convertable and at least you could be saved (assuming they didn't kill you out right for being an American Soldier) but as an Atheist you were viewed as "beyond saving" and pretty much cut from the herd. This is hearsay, mind you, from some Special Forces friends on the ground down range.

I grew up in the Quad Cities too. We used to drive by James Klindt's house when we went to visit my grandparents.

I remember also that he dumped her body in the Mississippi. I wasn't allowed to do much fishing in the river that year...

As bean mentioned, she has succeeded in getting away with plagiarism...and then sued the crap out of anyone who might try and do the same to her.

Fascinating indeed...

It's unfortunate that I loved the books only to find out she's a douche-bag...

Taxing tobacco would infringe on people's choice to kill themselves slowly and make themselves a burden on an already overtaxed health care system in the state of California.

One thing they will never change in California is allowing people to put themselves in a position to be a giant tax burden to those of us that actually work for a living.

And for those about to bitch, I'm a smoker and I work in healthcare. Yes, it's a bit of a paradox, but I choose to kill myself slowly in order to become a burden on taxpayers...

Fuck Schwarzenegger. He fucked us slowly with his steroid shrunken heuvos.

I think his best choice would just be Norteno. With the upbringing he's going to be getting, I'm sure that Familia Nuestra is going to be his first exposure when he hits juvie at 9...

And he stole that from Dennis Miller, who at one point stated (and I'm not sure that this is 100% accurate, but more or less the gist of it):

"Why hate someone based on the color of their skin? I'm sure if you took the time to get to know them you would find out what an asshole they really are."
