Hehehe.... the idea that butterflies could be so pretty to please a human beholder... is just so absurd. Except for some hobby breeds, why should give any anymal any you-know-what to please any human. It seems as absurd to assume that some anymals are there to bug or annoy us... or that any human could be here to please any other animal or entity...
Most lifeforms on earth are not humaniform. Even the tetrapoda are heavily outnumbered by bugs... The humaniform alien is usually based on movie-aliens that may easiest be obtinted by putting some human into a kind of alien-dress. However assuming that any space travelling alien is capable of using tools and technology, you may assume that they have some kind of manipullator type arme type gipping appendages. Also it may be assumed that there are some kind of appendages that allow a kind of mobility. This would lead to a kind of mobile manipulator alien, that may also be provided with a kind of sensors capable of depht perception, such as e.g. pair of eyes. But the design may significantly differ...

Of cause war is older than written history. It is much simpler to fight and kill than to develop any writing system. For warfare you just need stones, clubs and maybe spears, all things that are readily available or useful for hunting, In contrast establishing a writing system from scratch is just a nightmare.
I have two more: Follow the gravity... often things fell to the ground... Get a new one, and once you have a new one the lost one will usually magically appear within 24h after you could have returned the new one...
There are so many highly processed 'edibles' already, it is totally plausible, that in the future, there will be no unprocessed food left... Except, an extinction level event will basically reset everythig and the few resuming humans will have to restart as hunzer-gatherers again...
"Painless" is not the same as "good". Just imagine all of you car's alert lights being broken... and you would have to check tire pressure, coolant and oil levels, brake pads, braking fluid, fuelstate before every ride...Not noti ing something like decubitus may not end well...
