I'm pretty sure I rented a couple of these places. I remember one in New York where the shower was in the kitchen and there was a toilet in the pantry. I remember one morning taking a shower and my roommate cooking eggs next to me on the stove.
I did this once where we pretended to be victims in an airplane crash. My jobs was to be a little hurt but mostly try and wander off in shock. It was fun and a good drill for our community emergency response team.
The problem is the assumption that water infrastructure is safe. Sure in a world where the water comes out of the tap pure and clean bottled water doesn't make sense. When you live in arguably one of the most modern countries and the world and there are thosands of reports that cities are telling their citizens to boil their water, or use filters bottled water sounds like a viable backup because at least the bottled water is being regulated by a 3rd party.
More and more I hate twitter. I'm not a twitter user and rarely hear anything positive about twitter. Sure maybe ten years ago it helped with the Arab Spring but today it feels like a dumpster fire of both bad posters and bad fans. Is this really the forum of world discourse? Sad very sad.
Some of the universal symbols are so plain while others feel like they don't quite fit anymore. The Venus♀ and Mars♂ symbols today are less associated with their respective planets and more with genders. Other symbols are really unrecognizable like Saturn and Jupiter. Also the symbols are decidedly western and don't account for many other cultures traditions of depicting the planets.
I remember forgetting to take off my belt and getting patted down. The TSA agent was as equally distressed at patting me down but seemed resigned that that was what must be done even after the belt was removed.
I was surprised that they didn't have Crab Rangoon in Quebec when I visited there one time but I enjoyed all the other French/Chinese food fusions that I didn't mind
It feels about on par for breakfasts I've ordered through room service in the U.S. dnc that would be true if deforestation in India and lack of modern pottery has made finding rupees in the wild much harder. "hhhuyyaah"
