For crying out loud. This is the 8th CAT story on neatorama today. Enough already with so many cat stories. Not all your readers are as cat-crazed. Some of us are dog people.
I travel extensively and have stayed in MANY hotels. I too have stayed at the BOPH and found the room to be not much bigger than my walk in closet. My jaw dropped when I walked into that room and saw how incredibly tiny it was. I just checked the website and they have rooms called "Petite Singles" with a bed and for only one person. Had to be what I got.
Wes: When I'm waving my hand at my face like that during that type of situation, it's not to wave away emotions. It's because I'm generally out of breath and I'm fanning myself to get air.
Reading the comments, guess I'm definitely in the minority. I'd be more than willing to let 9/9/9 be the ONLY day in which there were cats on the Internet and ALL other days be cat-free. So tired of all the cat stuff!
LisaL has it right. We've all been annoyed by crying/screaming kids and I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to castigate the parents for not disciplining their kids. I would never strike the child. Most parents now days just let their kids run amok and never discpline them. They're the ones at fault.
Where I work, we were offered the option of an alternate work schedule last year. Half the employees signed up immediately and all of them love it. But for me personally, it's hard enough getting to work by 8 and leaving at 5. There is NO way I could work 7-6, especially in winter, when my daily commute is an hour each way. I'm so glad it wasn't mandatory.
Geesh, he says screw you as they pass in the hallway and she gets preggers. Enough is enough. I have no doubt all those kids raise the younger ones missing out on so much of their childhood. Not to mention finding quality time with mom and dad. It just can't be there!
I know it's tragic and I'm glad all are safe, but it truly made me giggle until tears rolled down my face. If I spoke the language, I imagine I'd have heard a few WTF's going on there!
Man, what's with all the haters? This was the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I've passed it around the office and we've stood around in groups watching it and laughing. Just love it!
