Rule of smuggling is "in for a penny, in for a pound". Dogs can find an eight-ball just as easy as 120 pounds but a 120 pound suitcase is a bit of red flag so that sounds suspicious. Maybe the scam had someone in baggage adding the drugs so she'd only have to pick it up and leave instead of check it in.

And people still believe prohibition works? So let me get this straight. First, the government can't even keep drugs out of maximum security prisons so logically, it's impossible to keep drugs out of anywhere else. Second, the government can POISON the drugs, tell people they are poisoning the drugs, and people will STILL use the drugs. Given those two points there are people who still promote prohibition?

Whoa, from the way the image was cropped, I was first thinking to myself, OK, the ocean is as deep as the empire state building is tall. That's pretty deep, no doubt, but I was under the impression that it was a bit deeper than that.

Then I clicked on the entire image. Oh, yeah, it's more than 25 times as deep as the Empire State building is tall. That's...well...that's extremely deep. My ears hurt just thinking about it. *POP*

I don't think this would work too great for for theives looking for random houses to burgle. But, if you were casing a joint, then yes, twitter and facebook would be great tools to help you pick a time. This is what I told my daughter when she changed her status to "Going to Florida with the family for two weeks!"

My mom had some of these cook books. My sister and I used to laugh all afternoon reading some of the recipes. The instructions for killing and prepping a turtle alone made us nearly pee our pants.

Really, telephone polls need to be relegated to the grash heap of statistical history. It's no longer an honor to be called up to be part of a telephone poll and those who still think it is had their ideas and beliefs shaped during the New Deal.

Purer gasoline, without detergents, without ethanol, etc. actually smells pretty good. My theory is that they started putting chemicals in it to make it unpleasant. When I was a kid gasoline smelled pleasant but in some smaller countries (or states) without emission standards it still does.
