It's not like a random flying object was swooping in out of nowhere. He was at a baseball game. One of the things that many people at a baseball game are interested in is to catch a foul ball. One came to him and he dove out of the way like a mouse surprised him in the kitchen.
I should have posted my own pictures. Tricked my wife into going back in '06. Since it was originally a sheep farm, not really surprising that it has returned to sheep farm.
@Jolly - While arresting someone for chicken nugget "theft" when they are given freely is waaaaaayyyy over the line, I'm all for the police arresting people for theft even without a complaint. If somebody steals my car while I'm sleeping and the cops catch him before I wake up, I don't think he should get to go free because I hadn't reported a stolen car, yet.
I went to the Michigan State Fair, last year. First time since I was a kid. My daughter was 1, so I thought she would like to see the animals. She had a blast.
There was a petting zoo, an animal birthing exhibit (cows, pigs, sheep, and hatching birds), and in the cow barn were calfs for her to pet and fresh milk. She even got her first elephant ear! The birthing exhibit could be a little gross, but it was awesome.
We were going to make it a family tradition, but sadly Michigan has no cancelled its State Fair and is looking to sell the fairgrounds.
Hooray for whale poop! I have one big question about trees and animals "capturing" carbon, though. When the poo gets to the bottom of the ocean, doesn't it reenter the food chain and get ejected as carbon at some point? Or, does whale poop continuously fill in the oceans? Perhaps the ice caps aren't melting and it is whale poo causing the ocean levels to rise?
