I'm an engineer that's in the field a LOT - I'm living in a hotel off-site as I type.
I write in my field books and on borehole logs in pencil all the time - I would LOVE this Sharpie dealie for my work. Much nicer once I have to get all that info into print than trying to interpret my pencil smudges.

Wayne's World is good, too.

My friends and I always stay to the end, waiting for a "Skeletor" - The credits for "Masters of the Universe" were the best! "I'll be back!"

We kinda go MST3K on it, too, looking for silly names and jobs - best boy always cracks me up.

The placement seems somewhat appropriate though. I can't imagine that looking right on an arm or higher on the back - the rise of the jeans/skirt/daisy dukes makes an oddly appropriate horizon line.
Wow, I'm over-analyzing this.

First off, I'm originally from Niagara Falls (ish), Ontario, Canada, now living in Seattle, WA.
When I was living in Canada (up until about a year ago), I didn't care much for poutine. Now that I'm living in the U.S., I crave it all the time. Maybe I just miss all things Canadian (like Harveys, Timmys, the Tire - you Canucks know what I'm talkin' 'bout).
I've noticed there are a LOT of Canadians working for MS, Amazon, etc. in Seattle, and I think the "geek food" thing has been caused by all the CDN ex-pats having similar cravings for food that isn't as readily available to them (at least from what I've seen in Seattle, it isn't, and believe me, I've looked). I'm not sure what the situation is like in other geek-filled cities - I calls 'em as I sees 'em.

This is a really great tip - my oven is really messed - consistently 25-50 deg below the temp on the display, uneven cooking, etc. I'll have to try this. Thanks!

Um, doesn't the term "soccer" come from British slang for "association"? "Association football"->"soccie football"->"soccer" was for the rich and aristocratic, whereas the lower classes simply played "football". Somehow, the term "soccer" made it over the pond. Both are, it would appear, correct. Americans may just be a little snootier :)

Happy Canada Day, everyone!
