I think the map as labelled by Australians is a fake. Australians don't commonly say "yo" or things like that. It actually looks like it was written by an American who thinks that's what Aussies would say. BTW I'm Australian.

This sucks. Tanooki are a mythical shape shifting beast not the real animal Peta states. Mario is made of pixels not flesh and bone so he can't hurt real animals.

PS Animals are yummy

This is epic fail. This so called English professor is ignorant of the fact that English as a language is constantly changing and evolving. Pop culture influences like Starbucks have a part tp play in that change. Obviously the professor has become set in her ways and therefore would not be a very interesting teacher. This is the kind of behaviour I expect from internet trolls not college preofessors.

Australia has a similar car culture to the USA and we also had drive-ins. I first saw "Star Wars" at the local drive in, a 15km drive from my house. I even "made out" at the drive in with my wife in our 1960's EH Holden which featured bench seats, a must for drive in romance. I actually owned this car during the 80's but it was identical to the one my parents drove in the 60's 70's.
I remember people with station wagons used to back into their parking spot then open the tailgate and watch the movies lying in the back with pillows and sleeping bags. The drive in at my town was 50/50 cars and seats, it was on a point near the ocean and you would look out to the sides and see the waves sparkling in the moonlight. I have also been to drive ins that had a playground located in front of the elevated screen so you couls see your kids playing and watch the movie at the same time.
In Australia they are mostly gone now.

this is nuts, I'm sick of this nanny state, care bear crap. When i was at school we actually made real needle ammo for our blow pipes and were running around school firing them at each others butts. All we got was a stern talking to. In retrospect its a wonder nobody lost an eye but it was just seen as a prank, pretty soon we were onto the next fad.
