I managed to get about 26 of these on the first run through. I don't watch a lot of movies though, so beyond those I was pretty much stumped.

I'm reminded of a story I heard once about someone applying for a job for some city government. While filling out the application, he asked about how honest he should be about work history. He was told to be honest, and continued to fill out the application. Upon reviewing the application later, the hiring manager found that the previous history contained nothing but the words "Drug diller(sic)".
Needless to say, he didn't get too much further than that.

Might as well get the obligatory "It's a trap!" comment out of the way quickly...

Of course, there's a much simpler explanation for the whole thing:

I can think of plenty of adjectives that could be used to describe this whole idea... None of them printable here.

I'm running over on wordpress.com, and even though the new editor is slightly less buggy than the old one was (for some reason, if you rolled over one of the toolbars at the top of the page it would cause the editor window to jump back to the top of the page automatically, usually messing up stuff in the process) I do have to agree that the new UI is just a pain to use. The editing window seems to be designed for fixed-width templates (which would not work for my Blog since I use a lot of photos) so full-screen editing is the only way I can really write without having to fight the editor all the time. The fact that they removed the "view" option on the manage posts UI is a pain too, since you have to go through the editing window to find the view button now.
Issues aside, it's still less of a pain to deal with than Blogger was though.

I've thought about doing this before. Since I blog on a regular basis, and can churn out 1,500-word posts with little difficulty, 50,000 words doesn't seem like too much of a stretch. My main problem is having something of substance to write about, since unless I have a clearly defined topic to write about (usually from some external source) I just get too distracted to come up with anything. Contrary to what I used to write about, I also find that I work far better dealing in nonficticious topics these days (blogging will do that to you.)
I'd like to try writing something like this sometime, but I suspect that it would take me far more than a month to write.

A couple of interesting ones involving the consumption of what's called a "Garbage plate" (a big plate of assorted foods, none of them particularly healthy) can be found at the Wiki article for that particular dish.

Running 14 miles, and eating one of those things in the middle of the run doesn't sound like my idea of fun...

I don't see a whole lot of difference, but since I usually read on RSS these days I might have just missed it.

Being a child of the 80s, I used to watch all sorts of this stuff. You Can't Do That on Television was definitely my favorite, but Out of Control, Mr. Wizard and some of the game shows were enjoyable too.

The "Stupid Prices" one is actually found near here (it's a chain of closeout stores found in California, Oregon and Washington that sell mostly furniture and some home electronics.) For a while they actually had hats with the words "Stupid customer" printed on them available in the store. I suspect those were given away mostly to the people who annoyed the staff...
