When I was born the world's population is what the combined population of India and China is now. Picture that, India and China as populated as they are now and the rest of the world unpopulated.
I try to eat well and focus on fat/protein while avoiding carbs. The problem s healthy food burnout. I spent $50 on nuts and now I can't stand them. Same with bananas, avocados, 86% cacao dark chocolate and others. Recently I bought a 4 lb. bag of rice and 3 for $9.99 frozen pizzas. Sometimes I put the fruit out to get me to eat it. I call it apple-cracker, healthy or salty crunchy. The best outcome is neither. Carbs are addictive, simple as that, and in evolutionary terms humans rarely had a constant overabundance of food which is why gaining weight/putting on fat in good times has until recently been a survival mechanism. Now people just eat too much. especially fast food designed to create cravings for it.
The older you get the faster time moves. Young people, resist wishing it's tomorrow, next week, next year, to turn 18, 21, whatever, it will come and go faster than you realize.
Old people, get the pneumococcal vaccinations, Prevnar 13 and 23 and if you've had chicken pox get the shingles vaccination, preferably the newest more effective Shingrex. And of course, get your flu shot as soon as that vaccine is available each Fall.
Kind of silly when parking enforcement gets a digital license plate scanner that provides a time stamp and maybe a reminder for the enforcement officer to return later to enforce parking rules.
Internet/TV $120/month, ~$70/month cannabis, rent and electric for subsidized housing $306/month, food ~$250/month, car $40+/month. SSI sole income $931/month and I am a compulsive saver of anything left. Cap for upper molar with no opposing lower $1,000-1,500, extraction if it goes rotten $0-84.
