My point is that the "God hates shrimp" people have a poor understanding of the book they're mocking. I suggest reading the Westboro Baptist Church FAQ. Fred Phelps has a keen understanding of the Bible.
The same section of Leviticus that prohibits gay sex also prohibits bestiality. Because it's so silly that "God hates shrimp" does that mean it's okay to have sex with animals?
