I am also sensitive to MSG. That does not mean I am anti-MSG. It's just something I developed a sensitivity to and need to avoid. People can be sensitive to all kinds of foods, so there's no reason for the general population to avoid it because of a small group. That being said, the only reason I even considered it as something that I could be sensitive to was because I saw a news article about it when I first developed the intolerance. I was really sick for a month, saw the article, looked in my cupboard and saw that almost everything in there had MSG. And about a day after cutting it out of my diet, I was already feeling better.

Something interesting to note is that the opposite of "equity" is "iniquity". You know, the thing that people in the bible are always getting berated for.

I couldn't get much past the point when he said that the lifespan 150 years ago was about 40 years old. Granted, I'm sure he was just using the statistic to make a point, but it was misleading and made it sound like no one lived past the age of 40. I understand that it was just a short video in which he needed to cover a lot of information to make his point. But I don't appreciate being fed manipulative statistics for that to happen. He could have worded it differently, or left that part out.

Ok, rant over.

I find it confusing when people actually make the effort to return carts to the return stalls only to stop five feet away from the stall and make a final push of the cart (apparently assuming that it has magical nesting powers) before turning and walking away.

The fabric looks wrinkled already. I'm worried about how difficult it would be to keep the clothing looking pressed. Will it take well to the heat of an iron or steam?

You can also move down the road in most of them (just like in street view). But as I have discovered, the score is based on how close you can guess your original location, not the recognizable landmark you found several kilometers down the road.

It also gets doesn't help when you get yourself lost. I saw a lot of the Canadian countryside that way.

The Library of Congress has some audio recordings of interviews with former slaves. Based on some of what was said by George Johnson, one of Jefferson Davis' former slaves, I can understand why Davis thought himself beneficial and benevolent toward blacks.

George Johnson's interview gives an interesting perspective, and I wonder why it is not better known. Perhaps because there has never been anything to authenticate his statements? I don't know.

I misinterpreted the question and thought that each letter had to be taken off of the end of the word, not just somewhere out of it. I did come up with a word that fit, but I am having trouble finding a definition for it, so I'm not so sure it would fit into the story very well. It is a valid Scrabble word, though.

What humiliating day for the poor elephant! First he falls into a well and gets all yucky. Then he endures a group of humans gathered around, pointing and gawking at him for the next five hours. Eventually there is a way out, but just when he thinks he's home free, he finds out that the humans had place a huge backhoe that he hast to find some way to crawl out from under (without getting crushed). Then, when he finally gets out of that mess, all of the humans start screaming and chase him off into the woods.

I it wouldn't surprise me if he avoids people for the rest of his life.

In an attempt to increase his popularity, Kenny G decides takes some ques from Lindsey Sterling. He produces a jazzy dubstep remix of music from the Twilight series, and in the music video he cosplays as Edward. The results are not pretty, but surprisingly successful when several memes are develop.
