Due to this page irritatingly reloading every few seconds (for ads or tracking or something?) I've decided I have to block Javascript from Neatorama. That means I won't be able to comment anymore, but the frequent reloads are too damn irritating (and utterly pointless).

Thank god Christopher Davis took the time to sketch the creature for us, or else we'd have no clue what it looks like... The pen is indeed mightier than the sword.

On camera you don't have depth perception... In the real world, optical illusions break-down and don't fool anyone that has two working eyes.

Maybe they should shut-down the helicopter hovering above him, just off-screen... That might help him sleep.

Disney has done so many racist stereotypes in their animation, that I'm surprised that Song of the South gets any special treatment:

But what really bothers me about Disney is how they raid then destroy the public domain, and make sure they never have to give anything back. In fact people are dying because of their copyright extension laws that leave things like service manuals for aircraft illegal to reprint and so unavailable to those who need them. I don't know why the public doesn't see them as more evil than arms manufacturers and oil companies:

You don't have to go back nearly that far. Just pick any song from Avenged Sevenfold that topped the charts... The lyrics are probably about murder, evil, necrophilia, or worse. And rap tops the charts right now, while most aren't exactly clean-cut family-friendly lyrics, either.

I think a ramp would be easier on them, and universally more useful for human inhabitants, too.
