It was one of the tragedies of the early 20th century and a story based on the true events of the sinking of RMS Titanic had become a blockbuster film. But there are theories circulating on the internet that hypothesize an alternative tale to what we know. It is agreed that a ship sank on April 15, 1912 and that 1,500 of its passengers had died. The primary point of contention is that it wasn't RMS Titanic that sank but instead, a much older ship, the Olympic. Both ships have the same manufacturing company, White Star Line but theorists believe that the circumstances behind the Titanic and Olympic made it so that the company had to switch the two ships for their own gain.
