NASA’s InSight Successfully Lands on Mars [First Images and Videos]

NASA’s spacecraft InSight landed on Mars last night.

As a result of six years long effort, InSight managed to land on Mars last night. By successfully entering the surface of the Red Planet, the spaceship made it’s landing and became the first vehicle to go to Mars in six years. Lastly, the spacecraft, has gained limited information about Mars and thus opened the horizon of new discoveries. The vehicle is expected to obtain information about both the surface and the underground structure. So it has opened the path to investigate whether life is possible on the Red Planet. Elysium Planitia is located 550 kilometers away from another legend spacecraft the Curiosity.
