You're Eating at a Buffet Wrong

How do you get your money's worth at a buffet? The Food Network is here to tell us how we've been doing it wrong. See, buffet eating is a zero-sum game, and you have to have a proper strategy to win.

On the other hand, you can decide that eating out is not a competition, but an experience that you pay to enjoy. If you enjoy the food and the experience, then you've won, no matter where you are. If your local buffet restaurant is full of diners trying to "beat the house," the experience will not be great and the food is probably sub-par. Maybe you should patronize a restaurant that gives you the good experience you are paying for. -via Boing Boing

While I was at work, I had a close friend that said he knew about a stock that will make him rich and he was putting almost all his savings and paychecks into it. He said he wasn't telling anyone about it cause he can tell a good person from a bad and he felt I was a good person and he said he wish me and my family wealth. I listened to every word he said then just brushed it off that he is an old man. I had just listened and been polite. It was stock for the satellite radio. He is now retired with his 2 dogs and likes to travel. Good people do get rewarded I should of listened to him.

Actually, lots of folks around here have similar stories to Zestyping's. I have at least two "could have retired on that" mistakes.

How do we know this guy wouldn't have done a terrible job at Google - so terrible that the young company never got off the ground?

Maybe hiring this guy almost became Larry Page's most expensive mistake??
