What's for Dinner? In China, Fake Meat Contains Rats and Foxes

Remember all the hoopla about horse meat in beef? "That's cute," said China. Fake meat there consists of rats and foxes:

In Wuxi, in east China's Jiangsu Province, suspects made fake mutton from fox, mink and rat by adding chemicals. The products were sold to markets and the suspects made more than 10 million yuan (1.62 million U.S. dollars) from the illegal activities. [...]

According to an initial investigation, the suspects had been using hydrogen peroxide solution to process chicken claws since July 2011. With an output of 300 kg per day, suspects made more than 4 million yuan in profits.

Cool!

And now, sadly, rather than being inspired to do something similarly creative on their own, thousands of people will copy that exact idea over and over until it becomes trite, annoying, uncool, and counter-productive.

Um, yeah. This seems like advertising for advertising, and it centers on one advertiser. Those guys that are always calling me and telling me I need to advertise.

Google will sell anything. They won't put up a nice American flag for the 4th of July, but, man, they will sell you anything they can possibly think of. They sell search results? Incredible.

Equally successful in getting a job at company you want (especially small to mid size companies) is to search Facebook for employees who work there. Then look through each employee for a mutual connection; employee knows your friend Joe. Connect and get interview.

This got me a job within a week's time. Of course being savvy on the net does not mean your savvy during your interview.

Hahaha! This is great. I actually did the exact same thing but with targeted Facebook ads. Worked like a charm!

Now, all I do is recommend that people looking for work use social media and whatnot. Way faster and significantly more fun!
