Colossal introduces us to Helena Minginowicz, a Polish artist. Her oeuvre includes detailed human figures, sensuous nudes, and disposable objects in a throw-away world.

Her vividly expressive and precise images of the human form on paper towels are especially interesting to me. The material itself is fragile, which is an ongoing comment that she makes about disintegration of humanity and its civilization.

Her style is inspired by the Italian Reniassance in particular, but her take on it is postmodern.
You can view more of Minginowicz's work on her Instagram page. Content warning: artistic nudity.
