The first house my parents bought was a small Cape Cod style home. In the livingroom my dad painted a mural on the largest wall. It was a rendition of Mt Fuji and it's landscape with flamingos flying in the air. It was painted over when we sold the house but I wish people could still see it. It was very cool and daring for the 1950's era.
