Whose Fingers Are These?

This hand looks as if it has been smashed by a bowling ball or something. The fingers are swollen, cracked, and there are patches that look like it may be bruised. What could have caused this? Who did it happen to? Continue to find out.

The way the hand looks is due to it being a gorilla's hand. Meet Anaka, a western lowland gorilla who lives at the Atlanta Zoo. Most gorilla's hands are dark, but Anaka has had several pink fingers since birth. Zookeepers think it's a kind of birthmark. She's grown now, but is still easy to pick out from the other gorillas even at a distance by her unique fingers. Read more about Anaka at Bored Panda.
