Cracked gives us a pictofacts list that everyone can relate to. We all have moments of utter unfairness in our lives that stick with us forever, while the perpetrator probably never thought a thing about it, never considered it wrong, and wouldn't recall it today if their life depended on it.

I got detention at school once for " using cafeteria,s knifes tor fighting". Except that I did not hold any knife and moreover got 2 stiches for being on the wrong side of it

Back in school, everyone involved in a fight received punishment, no matter who started it or why. It was policy. No amount of logic or facts would sway the administration. I am certain it was a way to get out of having to decide who was at fault and risk making a mistaken choice in who to punish.

That's funny about the video store firing for doing a refund. when I worked in tower records back in the day, we would re-shrink wrap the records that got played in the store and sell them as new. This is the real reason why tower had such a liberal return policy. if a person a "new" record with scratches it was probably true and we'd replace it. no one ever got fired even if it was their first day
