Snapchat has taken a subtle step against rival social media platform Instagram - with a hashtag takeover. The hashtag takeover is part of their recently-launched campaign, called Real Friends. Aimed to highlight how users can connect with their friends on Snapchat, a hashtag takeover was staged on Instagram with #realfriends and #friendshipquotes. The hashtags were filled with quotes and posts about friendship, along with footage from Snapchat.
We're looking forward to a response from Instagram - maybe a takeover on Snapchat?
