A pet owner has been accused of "animal abuse" across the internet for taking her cat to get plastic surgery on its face. The woman from China, took her cat in to have an operation on its eyes after claiming she didn't like the shape of them and thought they were "ugly".
The cat is said to have undergone a double-eyelid operation where a crease was added to the eyelid to create the look of a monolid, according to The Mirror.
Jiangsu Television Station reported the surgery cost the woman 10,000 yuan.
