SNL's Wardrobe Challenges

Saturday Night Live is aired live from New York, of course, so the production team are always on their toes. At the same time, the skits feature cast members impersonating real people and characters wearing over-the-top silly costumes, which must be completely changed during commercial breaks. The wardrobe department handles all this, plus finding, designing, making, and rehearsing with those costumes, with only a week to get it all right. Then they start all over again. -via Laughing Squid

Wow! I'd never considered how much of a logistical hurdle all those costume changes actually present SNL. It's like taking a peek behind the curtains to see how the magic is done.

Went through a bentalyser last night on the way to KFC and then 10 minutes later all the coppers on their dinner break came to the KFC (round the corner). It made me wonder if they setup the drug bus around the corner from the KFC on purpose. Not only that but if you were stoned and in the KFC when 20 cops turn up...I think you would give yourself away like this bloke.

ps: that copper has a laugh
