So you got a tattoo, and it isn’t right. The artist wasn’t as good as you thought they were, you changed your mind about the design, or it started to fade over time. You could get expensive and painful laser treatments, or you could find a much better tattoo artist and do a cover-up design. Buzzfeed asked readers to submit pictures of their regrettable tattoos and the cover-ups. Some are just plain awesome. The tattoo shown here has an intermediate image that shows where the old one is under the cover-up, but many other original tats are impossible to find in the “after” pictures.
