This kid is learning a lesson he won’t soon forget. However, it still might not change his behavior. Sometimes it really is too much trouble to pick up all those toys. Once, my kids wouldn’t pick up their toys, so I did it, and bagged them all up in garbage bags. I didn’t throw them away, but put them in the attic and forgot about them for years. The kids never missed them. They honestly had way too many toys, which was the problem in the first place. Now that they are starting their own lives away from the family, they’ve taken the minimalist approach to possessions. Only keep the things that are useful or bring you joy.
