Do you have what it takes to explore an alien planet? In 2009, NASA commissioned a set of recruitment posters for an exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor's Complex. The posters were designed with a retro feel in 21st-century eye-popping colors.

I'm 77 and when I was younger I thought I'd see humans on Mars. Guess I won't make it. Those who do go are going to have to be VERY special people, psychologically and skill wise. I wish them well. It's our destiny to send our DNA out into the galaxy and beyond.

I'm sure I'll catch flak for it... but I think perhaps JJ should have spent less time dropping in Easter eggs and more time crafting an original story instead of just rehashing the plot of Ep. IV beat-for-beat.

All that time, such an expansive universe of possibilities and we get the same story (essentially) as we had in '77?
