A career as a model, musician, or actor can only last so long. Unless you’re Meryl Streep or Jack Nicholson, roles will start to dry up as you show your age. The shelf-life of an athletic career is even shorter, because every year takes away from your ability to compete with younger rivals, way before she start to look old.
