Nissan Makes a Glow-in-the-Dark Car

YouTube Link

Nissan has recently revealed a version of their electric car, the Leaf, that is painted with a glow-in-the-dark paint. The coating, called "Starpath," promises 8-10 hours of glow and a finish lasting 25 years. The paint is also unusual in that is is completely organic. Glow-in-the-dark Leafs have yet to be mass produced and offered for sale.

See pictures of the glowing Leaf and learn more on the glow-in-the-dark coating and its inventor here. Read about the 2015 offerings of Nissan's Leaf at their website.

That's nothing new. I'm pretty sure that I saw a car painted with glow in the dark paint on Scooby Doo, back in the 70's. (Spoiler alert, it wasn't a ghost, it was OLD MAN WILKINS!)
