British Pathé, an old newsreel service for the UK, offers much of its enormous archives of oddities on YouTube. This quick clip shows how one enterprising craftsman fixed his roof-less car. John Potter, a trained thatcher in Pebmarsh, Essex, made a thatched roof. It was solid enough that he could climb on top!
