Man Hangs Thousands of Flyers in Search of a Girlfriend

Creating a profile on Tinder, searching for matches on OK Cupid, and weeping quietly in your cubicle may not always be enough to find love. Sometimes, you've got to be bold and original. Dan Perino, a 51-year old artist in New York City, found a new way to meet women.

He printed thousands of flyers with his picture and contact information on tear-off tags. He's blunt: he's looking for a girlfriend. If you're interested, give him a call.

On the first day, Perino got 130 calls. On the second day, he got 200. Most of them were pranks or people just trying to figure out what he's doing. But in 10 days, he went on 36 dates with women who responded to his flyers. There's one that he really likes. Perino told MTV News: "She's really smart. She edits books."
