How Well Can You Spell?

A spelling test from the Washington Post asks you to spot the words spelled incorrectly in 26 sentences (one for each letter of the alphabet). You aren’t asked to spell the words correctly, so it is really a proofreading test. My score looks pretty decent for a disc jockey, say, but awful for someone whose job title now includes the word “editor.” My only excuse is that I was in a hurry, but y’all already know I’m a terrible typist and proofreader. Maybe you will do better! -via Metafilter

Funnily enough two of the words I missed are spelled correctly where I live, but apparently spelled incorrectly in the US. Humourous and Lollypop. So I missed them.

Perhaps change web browsers. Both Chrome and Firefox have built-in spellcheckers, so even as I type this reply, a red underline can pop up any secund. There's one!
(And for any teenagers who may be reading this, that 'paper' to which Senorita C refers is something we old-timers used back when the Earth's crust was still cooling. Think of it as mobile app version 1.0)
