This Enormous Globe Is Made of Individually Painted Matchsticks

Sculptor Andy Yoder spent 2 years painting and assembling this enormous sculpture. His son recently posted photos of it on reddit. You can view them all here.

It has a foam, plywood, and cardboard frame. Yoder painted each match by hand, then glued them onto the frame.

Avoid the temptation forming in your mind. Alfred Pennyworth warned us that some men just want to watch the world burn. Don't be one of them. Keep fire away from this beauty.
