Generic Brand Video

(vimeo link)

Watch this, and try to remember where you've seen it before. You've seen it everywhere and nowhere! This video is based on a script at McSweeney’s and could be used to advertise …anything. It’s that generic, made completely of stock footage from Dissolve. So it's just like the brand videos companies pay really big bucks to produce, but afterward, you can't even remember what it was talking about. -via Boing Boing

That's got nothing on that scene in Doctor Who where The Doctor, Amy and Vincent are looking up at the night sky and Vincent describes what he see's and as he describes it the sky that Amy and The Doctor can see gradually morphs into Vincent's vision.

That whole episode did so much to bring to the works of Van Gogh people who had never really thought about painted art. It beautifully written and produced, such a shame that Curtis managed to put his usual sickly sweet (and indeed boak inducing) trademark on the ending. I was just at the point of thinking, "hey, maybe Curtis isn't all bad" and then he went and spoiled it.
