Human Loop the Loop with Damien Walters

(YouTube link)

We've seen Sonic the Hedgehog run loops in his video game. We've done it ourselves with Hot Wheels cars when we were kids, and not so long ago, a real car did a loop-the-loop. But can a human on foot ever get up the speed to do it?

In this video, freerunner and stuntman Damien Walters (previously at Neatorama) manages to run a loop-the-loop on foot. Is this even possible? Only if you are Damien Walters, so don’t try this at home. You’ll just hurt yourself. It's a Pepsi ad, which naturally sparked jokes about the role of caffeine in the stunt. -via Viral Viral Videos

Would it have been cheating to make the loop teardrop-shaped like most coasters are nowadays? He'd spend more time running up or down and less upside-down. It would be more like Donald O'Connor in Make 'em Laugh. Or maybe that would be an even harder shape to run around. Not sure.

Its the first version of the modern fingernail clipper. It worked but needed lots of adjustments, but it cut all your fingernails at once. The toenail clipper design never worked well though.

It's a really old-fashioned individual hot-dog cooker. Once the dogs are done, they get cut into bite sized pieces (for maximum deliciousness).

This is one of the earliest examples of mass production being applied to the Jewish Bris - or ritual male circumcision! Why, with one of these devices you could circumcise up to thirteen lads at one time and save money to boot! Such a deal!

While everyone knows George Washington had wooden false teeth, very few know that this machine was the one he used to actually make them. Teeth could be stamped out in varying sizes ranging from "Polite conversation and cucumber sandwiches" (on the left) to "Gonna have me a 7lb Bison steak" (around the middle) to his political battle-teeth "Let's play a game called "Bite Me"... I'll start!" (on the right). By mixing up a set of completely mis-matched teeth, he was also able to confuse the hell out of the British by shouting out random Austin Powers quotes during battle.
