There are so many conventional ways to deliver fish- by hand, in a cooler on ice, shipped across the sea, smoked then boxed and fried up between two sesame seed buns all immediately spring to mind, but the best way by far has got to be via good, old fashioned fish slingshot.

You might not want to eat a fish which has been launched at you but bald eagles aren’t so discerning, and they find wilderness photographer Ken Kester’s fetish for flinging fish to be a rather convenient way to pick up a bit of fast food.

A resident of Le Claire, Iowa, Ken has become the talk of the town thanks to his cod cannon, and the photographers drawn to the small town each year to photograph rare birds who come for the scenery but stay for the high flying cuisine.
