All these years later, animator Simon Tofield is finally letting us in on how Simon's Cat came to be. We've been in love with the cat since we posted that first video in 2007. Since then, we've posted many of them. We were impressed by Tofield's ability to capture exactly what all we know cats do, and to make it as funny as possible. Now we find out that a cat named Hugh was the inspiration, although later Simon's Cat animations were inspired by any one of his four cats. -via Viral Viral Videos
