Books used as an art medium makes sense as they are bulky, easy to manipulate, and plentiful. They're like recycled wood already, you know? Some folks lament the "waste" of destroying books, but these books were going to be discarded anyway, and you can bet none were rare. The sculpture shown here is from Montreal-based artist Guy Laramee.
