A Dark, Gritty Adaptation of Calvin and Hobbes

(Video Link)

Calvin: Do you believe in the Devil? A supreme evil being dedicated to the corruption and destruction of man?
Hobbes: I'm not sure that man needs the help.

Calvin is growing up. His imagination used to give him strength. Now it's trying to kill him. This gritty adaptation from the production company Gritty Reboots shows the dark end of Calvin and Hobbes.

I don't think you understand what "reboot" means. In order for something to be "rebooted" it needs to go to an already established film franchise and retell it again from the beginning. This is different than a remake, which is to take an already existing stand alone film and make it again. A "remake" of a film which originally came from a non-film source such as a book or play is not actually a remake, it is a re-adaptation. In order for a film to be a reboot or a remake, it needs to already existed in film form. Since Calvin and Hobbes has never been adapted to film, this is neither a reboot, remake or re-adaptation. It is a dark and gritty adaptation of Calvin and Hobbes. /rant
