Its sister museum nearby in Sinsheim also has one or two slides like that, albeit smaller, underneath planes. One of them goes through the roof of a hangar!
John, I may have some photos from a visit a few years back, are you interested in an article about the two museums - they are really one museum in two locations. Their collection of oldtimer cars and airplanes, as well as other assorted technology, is awesome!
