I have a piece of duct tape wrapped around the axle of my wheelbarrow to keep the wheel from falling off. It's been on there for at least 5 years. Like one of Neatoshop's t-shirts says: "When the going gets tough, the tough use duct tape."

Walt Kowalski advised also using vise grips. Sometimes duct tape isn't enough.
