Fooled by ‘The Onion’

The satirical website The Onion announced that North Korean leader King Jong-un had been named the Sexiest Man Alive. The story was picked up and reported in earnest in China's largest newspaper, The People's Daily. It was also republished in The Korea Times. The Daily Beast runs down nine stories of the same thing happening to various politicians, ESPN, and even the New York Times. Link
