Fooled by ‘The Onion’

The satirical website The Onion announced that North Korean leader King Jong-un had been named the Sexiest Man Alive. The story was picked up and reported in earnest in China's largest newspaper, The People's Daily. It was also republished in The Korea Times. However, it was far from the first time that Onion stories were mistaken as fact.
