Photographer David Bergman took hundreds of high-resolution photos of the 2012 Olympic women's beach volleyball match between USA (Jennifer Kessy and April Ross) and Switzerland (Simone Kuhn and Nadine Zumkehr), and stitched them together into a single 3 billion pixel image (with a dimension of 98,101 pixels x 31,747 pixels).
Bergman used a GigaPan to snap 200 photos over 21 minute periods, so you'll likely find some photographic artefacts at the stitched areas.
