It's not quite like that, Paavo.

I agree with masada. It's not exactly difficult to follow most furniture assembly instructions. I think somebody was trying to come up with something funny, and this was the best they could do.

I love assembling IKEA products. Most of them are well thought out. the solutions are ingenious. Buying furnitures assembled at the store and shipped as assembled seems so stupid. It's like building an apartment around a microwave, cause buying a microwave and plugging it in would be too much trouble.

After being freed from the first elevator, wouldn't you take the stairs back down? Was the firefighter too stupid to think "Hey, maybe the elevators aren't working and maybe we should take the stairs to be safe?"

I am terrified of elevators. I was a night security guard at one building with a haunted elevator. The door would just open and close over and over in the middle of the night. Add to that the news story of the man who got decapitated by an elevator with his coworker trapped inside.
