The Haines Shoe House

The Shoe House in Hellam, Pennsylvania was built in 1948 by shoe salesman Colonel Mahlon M. Haines, who styled himself as "the Shoe Wizard". The "Shoe House" is in the Eastern York School District. A few years ago they were in the midst of a building program and it was suggested by some to purchase this building to use as the Administrative offices...

Which would have made the superintendent the "old woman who lived in a shoe...."
