Why would you want to spend 3 months of your life making an exact model of the Hubble Telescope? According to the artist, Peter Hennessey, it's because he's tired of turning objects into something digital, and decided to turn something digital into an object. He calls this "un-digitizing".

@vonskippy I have to agree his rambling artistic philosophy is a bit shaky... but I do understand the sentiment behind it (even though, in this case, it doesn't make the most sense)

Um...the Hubble is a REAL object - so his artist bs statement is just plain bs.
