I think this is a rather clever, cute and stylish alarm clock, and especially like that you can change the surface that it knocks on. I myself use my iPhone with a gentle chime I sampled from a lullaby to tell me when I should sleep.

Not funny at all. Woodpeckers wake me up all the time, pecking on my house!!!!! This especially happens on a Saturday morning when I'm sleeping in.
